Trademark and domain name search provider Avantiq has appointed its director of strategic relations and marketing, Larissa Best, as CEO.
Best has been with Avantiq since 2006 and replaces her mother, Brigitta Best, who will remain president of the company.
Avantiq is headquartered in Switzerland but has offices in Luxembourg, the US and Australia. Best will continue to work from the Luxembourg office, where she has been based since joining the company.
Commenting on her appointment, Best said: “I’m honoured to be appointed CEO and I plan to ensure that we can continue to offer an outstanding client service whilst growing by acquiring new clients. Innovation has always been important for Avantiq and I’m determined to stay ahead of the game whilst not losing sight of the immediate client needs.”
