Copyright Hub chief executive steps down

01-06-2016

Dominic Young, chief executive of the Copyright Hub, has stepped down.

The hub announced yesterday, May 31, that Young would be leaving his role after three years.

It is a UK-based non profit organisation that attempts to lower the transaction costs of licensing copyrighted items, and was founded in 2013.

Caroline Boyd, who has served as the chief technology officer on the hub’s board for two years, will take over as interim chief executive while a successor is found.

Young said: “This has been a great project to work on and I have loved helping create the vision for the hub and driving it forward to its present position.”
