Domain name registry service Donuts has appointed Jeffrey Davidoff as its new chief marketing officer (CMO).
He joins from anti-poverty campaigning organisation One, where he was CMO. He also served as a CMO at travel research company Orbitz and as vice president at home appliances manufacturer Whirlpool.
He said: “Donuts is a strong company at the absolute forefront of internet namespace expansion.
“Paul [Stahura] and his team have built an organisation that’s leading this industry, and I look forward to growing the awareness of new generic top-level domains (gTLDs) and speeding up the adoption of this exciting namespace.”
Paul Stahura, chief executive of Donuts, said: “Jeff’s creativity and his experience with fast-growing organisations with global reach makes him a perfect fit with Donuts as a company and with our long-term objectives.
“We’re continually advancing our message to new audiences as the world embraces new gTLDs, and Jeff’s talent will bring new perspective and additional fuel to that work.”
