Much Shelist lawyer joins WIPO domain panel

Evan Brown of law firm Much Shelist has been appointed to the domain name dispute panel at the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO).

Brown, who currently works as a principal at Chicago-based Much Shelist, has experience in copyright and trademark litigation, as well as domain name disputes.

In the role, he will be required to preside over disputes under WIPO’s Arbitration and Mediation Center’s Uniform Domain Name Dispute Resolution Policy.

Adam Sacharoff, chair of Much Shelist’s IP group, said: “We are very pleased that Evan has been named WIPO Center panellist, and the appointment underscores his judgement and experience in trademark, e-commerce, domain name and internet law.”
