The sunrise periods for the .lawyer and .attorney generic top-level domains (gTLDs) will open for trademark owners tomorrow, July 29.
Managed by United TLD Holdco, the gTLDs are aimed at lawyers, law firms and “anyone involved in legal services”, according to the company.
Registrants are encouraged to select addresses including their name and those matching their area of specialism, such as trademark.lawyer or copyright.attorney.
The initial term of registration is one year for both gTLDs.
After the sunrise periods end on September 27, an early access programme and general availability stage will follow.
